Taberu Pokemon Island 5: Delivered from Flames

It is a stormy night on Taberu as rain falls all over the island. People and Pokémon take shelter as thunder loudly warns the island. On the northern part of the island lays a small old home located in the woods just outside of a small town. Just then a bolt of lightning strikes the house and the roof catch on fire. The old house soon starts to burn even more not even affected by the rain. "Mommy! Daddy!" a young voice cries out from the inferno. "Jared, get out of here now!" A voice shouts out. "B-b-but!" the young voice cries before part of the house collapses as the fire rages even more.
Meanwhile Floatzel rushes through the forest with the aid of swift swim. He stops by an Oshawott family. "What's wrong? A Samurott asks the Floatzel. "A fire has started on the north side of the island!" Floatzel says "The Ranger's need help to put it out! Hurry!" The Floatzel dashes off to alert more water types for help as some Samurotts step out of their home. They soon spot two Pokémon rangers (Jason & David) in heavy coats running with several water Pokémon following behind. They join the group as they make their way to the fire. Floatzel returns to the group as they reach the burning house. "Everyone we need more rain!" Jason calls out. Some of the Pokémon perform rain dance and the rain intensifies. "Ok everyone use water gun and put out the fire!" David calls out. The Pokémon rangers guide the Pokémon into position and the release their water guns on the fire. Floatzel is also spraying the fire but he stops when he sees something at the door. He spots a young boy walking out of the burning house and collapse onto the ground. "Partner over here!" Floatzel calls to David as he rushes to the boy. Floatzel extinguishes some embers on the boy as David and Jason run over to check on the boy. "Looks like he has been pretty badly burned." Jason says as he checks on the boy's vitals "But he's alive." "Floatzel, I need you to get him to the base so Kate can help him." David says. "I'm on it!" Floatzel replies as he lifts the boy in his arms and rushes him to the base. As the rain dies down and the flames are extinguished the Pokémon start to search through the charred remains of the house.  
Several minutes later back at the ranger's house the boy is laying on a bed, bandaged up with an oxygen mask on his face. Floatzel along with Mightyena, Zoroark, and Tyler all watch him carefully. "Will he be ok?" Tyler asks feeling worried. "I'm sure he'll be fine sweaty Zoroark says patting Tyler's back. "Yeah don't worry; I'm sure Kate can patch him up no problem." Mightyena says. A teenage girl (Kate) steps into the room looking at some papers. "He will be ok; he just needs to take it easy for a while." Kate says as she checks over the bandages. Just then the front door is heard and Jason and David walk in the room along with a Lucario. "Kate, could we talk with you for a moment?" David asks in a quiet tone. "Ok" Kate replies as she walks over to them and steps out of the room. "Come on little one." Floatzel says lifting Tyler up "Let's go play so we can let him rest." Tyler along with the Pokémon leaves the room. With everyone gone the boy wakes up and looks around the strange room. He then hears voices coming from an adjacent room so he slips out of the bed and listens in, watching the Pokémon Rangers with the Lucario.
"What did you guys find?" Kate asks as she sits down. "I wish we had better news." Jason says looking down on the ground.  "What do you mean?" Kate asks "The fire was started by a bolt of lightning" David replies "It was a much older house in the forest so it burned up very quickly." "And the boy?" Kate asks.  The Lucario then steps up "I scanned the area to see what I could find. There were three people in the house based off the residual aura I found." The Lucario then hangs his head down "We found the bodies of his parents under the remains of the building… he was the only survivor." The boy froze in place, devastated by the news that he heard. About to break into tears he starts running for the back door. The boy opens the door and slams the door as he runs out into the cold night. Before the Rangers could react to the sudden door slam the boy had already ran into the forest in a random direction. The Rangers run outside and looked around franticly to see where he took off. "What happened?" Floatzel asks as he runs out. "The boy ran off and we can't see where he took off." David replies. Just then Mightyena bursts outside with Tyler sitting on his back. Mightyena smells the air and he then looks to the forest. "He's that way." Mightyena calls out. "We need to find him." Tyler says as Mightyena starts running into the forest. Floatzel and Zoroark soon follow behind and catch up.
The boy was quite far from the station as he runs through the forest. He cries more and more blurring his vision as he continues to run. He ends up running off a steep hill and tumbles down all the way to the bottom.  The boy picks himself up and continues into the forest despite the pain from his fall down the hill. He continues to run blinded by his own tears, running aimlessly through the dense forest. He soon bumps into something and falls to the ground. Startled by what bumped into it flames erupt from its back burning immensely hot. The boy froze at the sight and heat of the flames, shaking in fear of the burning fire. The creature looks at him and notices his fear and the flames cool a little. "Are you alright?" a soft female voice says. The boy stays still, his eyes still fixed on the flames on the creatures back. The creature reaches over and wiping away his tears so he could see. The creature was a Typhlosion and it looked at the boy with worry. "Hey there little one." The Typhlosion says in a soft female voice "What's the matter?" The boy says nothing and he curls up in a ball shaking in fear. The Typhlosion reaches out and picks up the boy and holds him close to her chest. "Shhhhhhhhhh there, there" Typhlosion says rocking him back and forth "It's alright, I won't hurt you." The boy stops shaking and rested his head agents her warm fur. A rumbling sound is herd from the sky and the boy clings to the Typhlosion. "It's ok." Typhlosion says as she pets his head. Typhlosion looks at the grey clouds in the sky and thinks.  She knew that it was going to rain and seeing how the boy's clothes were torn and he was bandaged up that he shouldn't be out in the cold rain for very long. Typhlosion then gets an idea as she lifts the boy up to her head and licks his face. The boy shakes a bit at this as the Typhlosion's tongue slides across his face. "It's alright little one." The Typhlosion says as she pets his hair "I just want to keep you safe and warm. Will you trust me?" The boy remains quiet as he slowly nods. The Typhlosion lifts up the boy and opens her mouth wide.
Being as gentle as she can she place the boy's head in her mouth? The boy shook in fear but he didn't struggle. She said that she wouldn't hurt him so he decided to trust her.  The Typhlosion slowly gulps the boy so she doesn't startle him. She gulps his shoulders in and she slowly raises the boy's legs in the air. The boy couldn't help but feel a bit soothed by the warmth of the Typhlosion's throat. With the aid of gravity the Typhlosion is almost half way there and she murrs at the feeling of the boy traveling down to her belly. The boy's head arrives at the entrance to the stomach, which opens to accept the boy into it. With the boy's feet remaining she takes one final gulp sending the boy all the way inside her. The boy is gently placed against the soft warm walls of the Typhlosion's belly.  "Are you alright little one?" Typhlosion says rubbing her belly. The boy stays quiet as he rubs the wall in reply. The boy slowly doses off from the warmth and soft glow from Typhlosion's internal flame. "Sleep well young one." The Typhlosion says softly as the boy falls asleep.
A loud clap of thunder is heard as the rain starts to pour. The Typhlosion holds a giant leaf in her hand as she slowly walks, letting the leaf shield her from the rain like an umbrella. She looks at the bulge in her belly as she thinks about the boy. "Typhlosion!" she turns and spots Floatzel walking over to her with an equally bulging belly followed by Mightyena and Zoroark. "Ah hello friends, I'm so glad to see all of you." Typhlosion says with a smile "What brings all of you out here on this stormy evening?" "Well we were trying to find a boy that ran off from the station." Zoroark says "Have you seen him by any chance?" "In fact I have." Typhlosion says as she pat's her belly "He was badly hurt and I wanted to protect him from the cold rain. I can see you had the same idea Floatzel my friend." She says looking at Floatzel's belly. "Yeah I did." Floatzel replies as he pat's his belly "I couldn't let Tyler get sick from the rain." "Well glad you look after your friend." Typhlosion says. Typhlosion then looks at her belly and thinks. "So this boy was at the ranger station. What happened to him?" Typhlosion asks. The others look to the ground giving silence in reply. "It's something bad isn't it?" Typhlosion asks.  Zoroark and Floatzel both shed a tear while Mightyena steps up. "Well I think the best way to explain…" Mightyena says in a sad voice "Is for you to see for yourself." "A-alright." Typhlosion says. Typhlosion follows her friends as the slowly lead her through the rain.
Several minutes later they arrive a place in a clearing that was nothing but burnt wood and ash, the place where a house once stood. Typhlosion looks around at the remains of the house and then looks at her belly. "So this was his home?" Typhlosion asks. Floatzel nods sadly. Typhlosion continues through the remains when she spots something amongst the ash. Setting her leaf down Typhlosion picks up a picture that was burnt on the edges but somewhat intact. In the picture was the boy standing happily with his mother and father. As she looks at the picture she then looks and spots two small, wooden crosses resting at the edge of the burnt structure. "David must have placed these here." Zoroark says "He's always very respectful when it comes to… well you know." "So his parents are… dead?" Typhlosion asks in fear of the answer. "*Sigh* Unfortunately." Floatzel replies. Typhlosion looks at her back, looking at the flames and she then looks at the bulge where the boy is sleeping. "So he has lost everything… because of a fire." Typhlosion says with a tear rolling down her cheek. Everyone stays silent as they feel sorrow for the boy. The Typhlosion picks up her leaf and holds it above her head. "My friends please tell the Pokémon Rangers that the child is safe and is in my care." Typhlosion asks them. "Typhlosion… are you sure?" Mightyena asks. Typhlosion nods. "I need to get going if I want to get home, you should probably do the same." Typhlosion says as she starts walking "Take care my friends." "Take care Typhlosion." Floatzel says as he walks back to the station with the others.  Typhlosion rubs her belly softly as she quietly walks through the forest on this cold rainy night.
The next morning the boy wakes up in a small cave laying up agents something soft and warm. "Hello little one." The boy looks up and sees the Typhlosion holding him in her arms "I'm glad to see you awake." The boy says nothing as he is unsure what to do. "You can talk to me little one." Typhlosion says as she hugs him close "Can I at least know your name?" "…Jared…" The boy says quietly. "Well it's nice to meet you Jared." Typhlosion says softly. The boy then notices a picture lying next to the Typhlosion and he grabs it and looks. "That was you, wasn't it?" Typhlosion says sadly "Before this happened to you. The Jared looked at the picture and he broke out into tears. At that moment the realization was finally apparent, he was alone. Typhlosion holds Jared close and coos to him. "Shhhhhh It's alright let it out." Typhlosion says as she tries to comfort him "I know it is hard for you and that you feel all alone but I am here. I promise that I will protect you and love you like family. Jared continues crying but he clings to Typhlosion closely. "I know that it will take time for this pain to subside." Typhlosion says "But I will stay with you to help." The boy soon stops crying and he falls asleep again. Typhlosion kisses his head and holds him gently so he could sleep. The road for Jared to fully recover from this trauma is great and will stay with him for a long time. However thanks to a kind hearted Typhlosion, he will not be alone.
